Darkness fell,
On dreams forgotten,
Thoughts untold,
And sorrows unwanted.
Darkness fell,
On actions left undone,
Words unspoken,
Feelings unknown.
Darkness fell,
On those unprepared.
The bell,
Has told,
The darkness,
Has fallen,
Your days,
Are done.
Now close your eyes,
And let your soul go.
The darkness,
Has fallen.
You maybe gone,
But you are not forgotten.
You are missing,
But still the search continues,
The search won't stop,
Till you come home.
So even though,
You are gone,
Do not fear,
For you will never be forgotten.
Take my hand,
And let me show you,
A world unknown to you.
Take my hand,
And I'll show you,
A world of forgotten dreams.
Take my hand,
And I'll bring you to,
A land of mysteries.
Take my hand,
And I'll show you,
A land of fantasies.
Take my hand,
And let's go on,
An adventure you will never forget.
You were a drinker,
You were a thinker,
You were.
You were a lover,
You were a fighter,
You were.
You were my idol,
You were my hero,
You were.
You were a son,
You were a brother,
You were.
You were an uncle,
You were a god-father,
You were.
You were a husband,
You would have been a father,
You were.
You were,
JMC.
Whispers exchanged,
Secrets told,
Promises broken,
One thing leads to another.
Heads turn,
Eyes averted,
Cast out by "friends".
Cautious concerns,
Judgmental looks,
People walking on eggshells.
No one should know,
We took precautions,
We moved,
We didn't tell the family,
What was going on.
I was a juvenile,
But some how,
It got out.
People found out,
That I went insane,
That I tried to,
Kill myself.
I was locked up,
They said I was,
Unstable.
We moved,
After I got out,
But some how,
The secret,
Got out with me.
And now,
It's almost like,
I'm locked up again.
The years pass by,
I find myself,
Coming to see you,
More often.
I find myself,
Wondering,
What you would have done,
If you were still here.
I wonder,
What you would be like,
If you were still around.
I brush away,
The leaves,
From your grave,
I place a bouquet of roses,
Say a prayer,
And as I turn to leave,
I say,
Till we meet again.
The pain,
That has engulfed my heart,
Won't go away.
I'm sitting,
Staring at the counter,
The shiny sliver blade,
Of the knife,
Glaring back at me.
We do this dance,
Near nightly,
But normally,
I back out,
At the last moment.
Tonight,
Tonight though is different,
I have nothing to live for,
Everyone is gone,
I think I might as well,
Just join them.
I slowly bring the knife,
To my wrist,
I press firmly,
I won't back out this time,
I remember what everyone,
Said to me,
As I pull the blade,
Across my wrist.
I watch,
As my blood,
Slowly drips from,
My wrists.
I no longer feel,
The pain,
I feel,
This strange sense of,
Peace.
You were above,
Everyone,
You had the power.
You alone,
Could make a difference,
But you threw it all,
Away.
Up in heaven,
They have a wall,
Very similar to the,
Ones on earth,
But on this wall,
Instead of fallen soldiers,
You'll find fallen angels.
Your name is now,
Amongst the fallen,
Maybe if you had,
Listened to the warnings,
If you didn't fly so high,
Maybe then you wouldn't,
Of fallen so far.
But you didn't,
Listen to the warnings.
They say you flew,
So high that your,
Wings snapped,
Then you plummeted,
To earth,
But those are only,
Rumors,
Right.
I see your name,
On the wall,
Of the fallen angels,
And I wonder,
Did it hurt when,
Darkness fell,
On dreams forgotten,
Thoughts untold,
And sorrows unwanted.

Five Senses of the Lost and Gone
That day tastes like an uncleaned shotgun.
Smells like meteor fire trails.
That day sounds like a whisper mid-earthquake.
Feels of sandpaper against an eyeball.
That day looks like dementia at the train station.
From Bristow to Stillwater you said,
"I love you." Said you and your mother understood
why I cheated on you. Said you understood men
have urges. You said you wanted to be mine.
And I held the phone, confused, wondering
if you, the non-drinker, had gotten drunk.
And no matter how many times I said I
hadn't touched another girl, the tire tracks
were in your mind and the mud in your heart.
You said, "I understand," and hung up. Disconn

You never understand how easy it is to breathe until you have acute bronchitis. I've had bronchitis before as well as phnomia. And I also have asthma. Breathing it's really important and right now it's a struggle for me
